Quick Start

Here is the step-by-step flow to get started.

1. Start the bot

Open the Drift Algo bot on Telegram and tap /start. You will see a welcome message.

2. Accept Terms and Conditions

The bot shows the Terms and Conditions. Tap Read T&C to review them, then tap I Agree to continue.

3. Set up your wallet

You have two options:

• Generate Wallet creates a brand new wallet for you
• Import Wallet lets you use an existing private key

Most users should tap Generate Wallet. The bot creates your wallet instantly and shows your address. Your private key is encrypted and stored securely. You can export it at any time from the Wallet menu if you ever want to use it in an external wallet.

4. Fund your wallet

Send the native token for your chain to the wallet address the bot gave you.

You can view your address and balances anytime by tapping Wallet on the home menu.

5. Run the setup wizard

From the home menu, tap Config or send /setup. Pick the chain you want to trade on and follow the steps.

The wizard walks you through:

• Discovery filters (which tokens to look for)
• Trading settings (position size and slippage)
• Exit rules (when to sell)
• Trailing stop settings

Each step shows a suggested default. You can accept it or type your own value.

6. Confirm and start trading

At the end of the wizard, you see a summary of all your settings. Tap Confirm & Start Trading to activate.

The bot starts scanning for tokens and trading automatically. You get a Telegram message for every buy and sell.

Home menu

After setup, the home menu is your main hub. It shows:

• Balances per chain
• Today's PnL (profit and loss)
• Open positions and capacity

The buttons on the home menu:

Tips for beginners

• Start with a small amount to test your strategy
• Stick with one chain first before going multi-chain
• Watch your first few trades to see how the bot behaves
• Adjust settings gradually based on results
